Hi, I’m
Rose Hinojosa

A writer, adventurer, performer,
multi-media artist and professional noticer of life.

A snapshot

Rose was born in the border town of Brownsville, Texas, and is shaped by life and work in Houston since 2006.

She’s spent her career building community and communications across industries, always listening for the heartbeat underneath.

Her creative work spans poetry, playwriting, musical parodies, screenwriting, and anything she can get her hands on that the work calls for—all of it circling the same questions: what we inherit, what we choose, and what we make from both.

She is currently developing her poetry book Ruckus, Homecomings, a one-woman musical, a new series of essays called Choices and Meaning Makers a dramatic parable.
